12:04 pm - Return of the RPG yet again... Someone please continue it.

Runi looked around her combat room one last time and frowned. "I am going to miss this place," she said to no one in particular. "You've treated us well, my friend," she said softly. With that she began dusting everything, and frowned more. "The time has come when we must part our ways. I promise you, one day we shall meet again." With that, she began placing tools and weapons that she herself had made in prominent locations. She indeed was an expert with crafting such things. Just then, she noticed Mori enter the room...

12:55 am - How Runi and Mori Became Sisters

Mori: *trots along on horse*

PD: [they're called brackets] spies an elf with nice pointy ears heading her way and starts drooling I must have those ears! They are a delicacy! [which is kinda ironic as I have elven ears. THAT"S WHY I HAVE A HOODED CLOAK!] *pulls out a dagger and aims at the elf's heart put lowers it when she sees something familiar about this elf, but why was this elf so familiar? It wasn't her mother. It wasn't her sister, or she didn't think it was at anyrate. she then sits to think *

Mori: *receives quite a fright when she finds a dagger aimed at her heart, as she has been riding along quite deep in thought, and thus had her guard down. draws a dagger, at a moment which would have been too late had the cloaked figure not withdrawn the dagger a moment before *
Mori: *does not recognise the figure at all, thus keeps the dagger up, edging suspiciously away *

amo.andrecourfeyrac: looks up and notices the figure disappearing wait... don't go! I want to fight mutters to herself Even though I do recognize her from somewher pulls out a dagger

Mori: (turns horse so that she is riding backwards, slowly) Who are you, and what do you want with me?

7:10 pm - Later that evening...

When Elen returns to the coolest spot in the house (the day had been warm, a bit uncomfortably so for the ent), her greenhouse in the back, she finds that the events of the day have worn her down. She finds a spot beneath her favorite tree, which also happens to be the tallest, situated in the very center of the beautiful domed building (although sometimes it seems more like a forest than a greenhouse, due to the rather large trees, shrubbery, and the stream which runs through it). There she closes her eyes and starts to drift off to sleep. A breeze from the summer evening outside drifts in and toussles her hair, and the moss she is lying on feels like a feather bed.

Suddenly, however, she is awakened, although when she sits up, she can't say why she awoke. But when she looks over at the other side of the glade, she knows exactly why, and leaps to her feet, and reaches for her dagger. Unfortunately, it is with the rest of her sword belt on the hook in the combat room. A figure steps out of the shadows, and laughs softly...

12:35 am - RPG Returns!

Elen had followed behind Mori for a little while, but, assuming that Mori could take care of herself, and not really wanting to get her way while the Lady of Knives was practicing, she took the first opportunity she had to wander off down another corridor.

Now she has found herself in the music room, where, to her infinite delight, a piano is waiting for her to play. However, when she sits down and is about to pull the cover off, she hears a screech from the direction of the combat room. Abandoning her piano only reluctantly, she hurries upstairs, grabbing a decorative dagger from the wall as she runs.

When she arrives at the combat room, she finds Mori and Runi collapsed in fits of giggles, and a mechanical spider lying helpless a few feet away. Quickly assessing the situation, she joins Mori and Runi on the floor, and decides to get down to the subject they had sought out the Lady of Knives for in the first place.

2:35 pm - "Oh, when will they ever learn?"

O, the memories! I now have access to livejournal only on weekends, which sucks. Anyway, I just realised that this community still has posts from when Mori and was fighting with Ellen. I've looked at old IM conversations where I got angry at her and it was for completely irrational reasons. I'm sorry, Jehan dearest! *hug*

To answer Elyse's questions: the RPG is set in what I assume is the "Domus Animus" (House of the Mind? Something like that, I forgot... if so, then that's cool-- root word for animal/animate! Anything with a mind, perhaps), a house that Ellen, Chrissie, Karen, Rachel and I lived in on the Plaza. Of course anyone can randomly walk in and out of it as they please. It's a mansion -- big, lots of mysterious unexplored rooms and whatnot.

We're not really supposed to be doing anything, it's just a random, spontaneous RPG for people to run to if they get too bored. That makes it quite slow, because everyone just sticks in a post every few months....

Anyway, Karen, evidence that I did not in fact take weeks to respond to your RPG post! Look at the times of your last post. Actually, it doesn't really make sense because apparently I posted my reply before you posted the post itself. How does that make sense? Of course it wasn't daylight saving time. Well, I stunned the spider quite easily because I wanted to get to the more important business of asking you about your enemies. However, I shouldn't have done that, because first of all, how would I throw the five knives into exactly the right places on my first try without having practiced as much as you? I ought not to know everything and be able to do anything just like that, just because I want to hurry onwards. It's not the way life works, after all. In real life, if a spider had come up and attacked my friend I wouldn't be able to just put it away neatly and quickly to get on to business. I'm sorry for Godmoding. (Would the correct spelling be "Godmodding"? It depends on whether it's "to godmode" or "to godmod". The second makes more sense now, actually; I'm not sure why picked up the first one first...)

All right, that's all I want to say.

And I love this song.

12:33 pm - continuation of Mori's story

Runi approached the large furry animal and was about to kill it but then she noticed someone next to it. She got closer and realized it was Mori.

"Mori. Where have you been?" Not noticing the frown on Mori's face she continued. "Have you seen Elen anywhere? I t seemed to me that she was following me but then she disappeared."

Just then, a giant spider came by. Runi wanted to show off her most recent perfections to her attack mode. The giant spider was about 20 metres away when Runi threw a sharp bladed silver knife at the spider. The spider wiggled for a few moments then it was still. Runi went up to the spider to remove her precious knife but the spider grabbed her with one of his giant fuzzy legs.

"Help me, Mori! Help!" She struggled to get free but the spider's grip became tighter the more she struggled.

9:31 pm - Moo. Someone join in.

"Runi?" Mori called out tentatively, creaking open the door of the combat room. She noticed that the artificial night environment had been turned on; the room was dark but for a gentle glowing of moonlight, and random mechanized chirpings issued from the shadows every now and then.

Flinching at the squirm of a clockwork cricket barely dodging from beneath her feet, she pushed aside a hanging sheet. The tattered things hung down from the ceiling at intervals, mainly for use as camoflage, a sort of substitute to natural low-hanging tree branches and spider webs. Not to say that there weren't any trees in the combat room. The environment of the room could mold itself into anything.

After five minutes of searching, and no success, Mori tried again. "Runi? Where are you?" Her friend spent much time in the combat room, often attacking mechanical opponents with her sharp edged knives, working her accuracy to perfection. It was a frightening thing, to be in the same room as Runi while she was practicing. But frankly, the room was so vast that if Mori didn't go out looking, Runi would never hear her summons.

There's no one following me, Mori realized, pausing to stop in a relative clearing. By now, her eyes were accustomed to the darkness, and she could more easily make a decision in where to go next. It was true-- Elen, whether or not she had been following in the first place, had disappeared. For all Mori knew, she could be on the other side of the combat room. She could already have dragged Runi out, with enough luck.

Well, it didn't matter to Mori. It was nice enough to be among the trees, with the air still and moonlight pouring over everything. A large, furry animal walked up to her, tamed by her lack of weaponry, comforted by her loose stance. She reached out to stroke its head, unable to see much more than a vague outline and its glowing yellowgreen eyes-- eyes which flickered occasionally, as if not quite real.

Just as long as she didn't suddenly find a knife buried in her stomach, all was well.

5:29 pm - Continuing the RPG

Elen grins mischeivously, and follows Mori to the door, looking over her shoulder to see who's there. The sound of rain pounds on the roof far above, and the windows are fogged up and streaked with water, and the dim sound of thunder crashes from far away. It's a dark and stormy night.

Mori pulls open the door, and they all gasp as they see-

9:44 pm - Introduction to Elen Laurelin

"Ubi Mori et Lomi est?" A medium-height, brown-haired, hazel-eyed girl, who is wearing a man's shirt, long black pants, a black waistcoat, and a tri-coloured sash stalks in, carrying a book under her arm. She is humming the tune of someone's requiem, and grins wildly as she sits down on a plush chair. She then pulls out a quill pen and begins to write in the book she brought. Her eyes twinkle as her pen moves furiously across the paper. She finally sets the pen down, and sits back to think.

Okay, there we go, it's pretty now. At least as pretty as I can make it without going crazy from frustration. :) Look at the scrollbar, Kuri!

I refuse to struggle to keep this thing alive (*coughAnti-Somethingcough*) so guys, check it every time you go online and replyyy. To make Mori happy and less bored than she usually is? *hopeful grin* Of course, I'm not going to be yelling at you guys for not posting if we have lots of homework, but yeah.

Because Mori likes to look at pretty things. This includes Ellen and Chrissie (and Rachel and Karen if they get LJ later)'s typing and LJ-icons.
